Registration

Registering as a SPARE:

  • Can be done up until January 8th
  • Must be registered and payment received in order to be listed on GAARA’s spares list

PRE-REGISTRATION:

  • July 18th to August 12th, 2011
  • If you want to play in the league, you must be pre-registered by the deadline - this gives the league executive roughly one month to plan the schedule from September to December and get the league divisions established.
  • GAARA may consider teams for the league that apply after this date.

Pre-Registration will NOT BE accepted if any of these items are missed:

  • Fill out the Online Pre-Registration Form
    • Should indicate who will most likely be on your team (players can be added/removed after this – we’re just looking for a good representation of your team so we can accurately assess your division)
  • A list of 11 hours of ice (please list in comments box or email to registrar@gaara.ca)
    • Must be between September (no earlier than In-Person Registration) and March
    • Teams may submit ice for only the September - December part of the year if that's all they have.

In-Person REGISTRATION:

  • Tuesday September 6th 2011, followed by league meeting

The following items are required at In-Person Registration:

  • BLANK CHECK - A check payable to "GAARA" will be required for season fees. A member of the executive will verify the registration package for the team and if there are changes your check might change. That is why we ask you to bring your check blank.

The following items are only required if you have:

  • Players Living in Quebec
  • Outdated Criminal Record Checks for any Bench Staff
