Registration
Registering as a SPARE:
- Can be done up until January 8th
- Must be registered and payment received in order to be listed on GAARA’s spares list

PRE-REGISTRATION:
- July 18th to August 12th, 2011
- If you want to play in the league, you must be pre-registered by the deadline - this gives the league executive roughly one month to plan the schedule from September to December and get the league divisions established.
- GAARA may consider teams for the league that apply after this date.
Pre-Registration will NOT BE accepted if any of these items are missed:

Fill out the Online Pre-Registration Form
- Should indicate who will most likely be on your team (players can be added/removed after this – we’re just looking for a good representation of your team so we can accurately assess your division)

Player Evaluation and Registration Forms must be sent to registrar@gaara.ca for any players you listed in the NEW player joining section
- Original signed copies will be required at In-Person Registration.

A list of 11 hours of ice (please list in comments box or email to registrar@gaara.ca)
- Must be between September (no earlier than In-Person Registration) and March
- Teams may submit ice for only the September - December part of the year if that's all they have.

In-Person REGISTRATION:
- Tuesday September 6th 2011, followed by league meeting
The following items are required at In-Person Registration:

Team Contract (pdf)
- Must be signed by a team representative.

Registration Package Section A_(doc)
- This provides Player & Coach information.

The NCCP# for head and assistant coaches is mandatory
- This is not the same as their ORA #

If unknown have them email coach@coach.ca with: Full name, Address, City, Postal Code, Phone

Registration Package Section B-G (pdf) (doc)
- Season fees tallied for team.

Bench Staff Code of Conduct Form
- Must be signed by all members of the team's coaching staff.
- BLANK CHECK - A check payable to "GAARA" will be required for season fees. A member of the executive will verify the registration package for the team and if there are changes your check might change. That is why we ask you to bring your check blank.
The following items are only required if you have:

New Players to GAARA
- Each new player must fill out a Player Evaluation and Registration Form
- Original signed copies must be handed in at Registration

Players Living in Quebec
- Teams registered in Ontario with players living in Quebec must complete an Athlete Release Form for each of these players
- Forms must be emailed/faxed to Ringuette Québec (ringuette@ringuette-quebec.qc.ca, (514) 254-1069)

Notify the registrar@gaara.ca once it’s been sent so they can follow up to ensure it’s gone through the system.

Outdated Criminal Record Checks for any Bench Staff
- Criminal Record Checks are good for 3 years (keep a copy in case it is requested in later years)
