Pre-Registration
GAARA TEAM CONTRACT
You will need to accept these terms before pre-registering.
This contract is between _______________________ hereafter referred to as the team, and the Gloucester and Area Adult Ringette Association, hereafter referred to as GAARA. The terms and conditions of this contract are in effect for the entire Association year (June 1 to May 31).
- The team agrees to abide and comply with the Constitution, By-Laws, and other such rules and regulations of GAARA as may be in force from time to time.
- The team agrees to appoint a Team Rep whose duties are defined by By-law 16.
- The team agrees to support the activities of the SilverSpoon tournament as outlined in By-law 17.
- The team agrees to post a $100.00 bond, to be paid by the date set for receipt of league fees.
- The team agrees to pay the fines set in this contract for failure to fulfill any of the responsibilities contained herein. Fines will be deducted from the bond as outlined in By-law 26.
The signed copy of the GAARA Team Contract must be submitted to the Registrar by the Registration Meeting (date set at AGM of previous Association year) of the applicable Association year.
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
| R-1: | Provide, to the GAARA Registrar, this signed Team Contract at the Registration Meeting. |
| R-2: | For teams providing their own ice, provide to the GAARA League Director(s), the team’s ice time on or before the date set by the GAARA Executive. For teams who receive their ice from GAARA, provide to the Ice Coordinator, payment for the team’s ice allotment on or before the dates and in the amounts set by GAARA Executive. |
| R-3: | For teams registering with ORA though GAARA, provide to the Registrar the completed Team Registration Package on or before the date set by the GAARA Executive. |
| R-4: | For teams registering with ORA through another association, provide to the Registrar a hard or soft copy of the team’s TRF by November 15th. |
| R-5: | Provide payment to the Treasurer of all registration, league and bond fees by the dates established by the GAARA Executive. |
| R-6: | Provide a score keeper, time keeper and prepared score sheet for all home games as per By-law 5.7 and 5.8. |
| R-7: | In divisions where applicable, provide a shot clock and shot clock operator for all home games as per By-law 5.8. |
| R-8: | Notify the League Director and Statistician by email and notify the Referee-in-Chief and the opposing team by phone in the event of a game cancellation as per By-law 8.2. |

| R-10: | Report to the Statistician the result of the game as per By-law 10.1 and 10.3. |
| R-11: | Deliver to the Statistician the game sheet as per By-law 10.2. |
| R-12: | Ensure that the game sheet is completed in accordance with all parts of By-law 12. |

| R-14: | Ensure ERRA and ORA team requirements are satisfied as outlined in By-law 26.5, By-law 27.1 and 27.2. |
| R-15: | For teams registering with ORA through GAARA, provide GAARA registrar with all necessary information to complete Information Change Forms when adding or deleting players or bench staff. For those teams registering with ORA through another association, provide a copy of any Information Change Forms submitted to ORA to the GAARA registrar in a timely manner. |
FINES
The following fines are to be paid by the team to GAARA for failure to fulfill the above noted responsibilities;
| R-1: | Ten dollars ($10.00) |
| R-2: | Twenty dollars ($20.00) |
| R-3: | Five dollars ($5.00) for each missing piece of information |
| R-4: | Fifteen dollars ($15.00) |
| R-5: | Fifteen dollars ($15.00) |
| R-6: | Fifteen dollars ($15.00) |
| R-7: | Fifteen dollars ($15.00) |
| R-8: | Twenty dollars ($20.00) per infraction |
| R-9: | See fees assigned per 9.3 a), b) & 9.4 above |
| R-10: | Ten dollars ($10.00) per infraction |
| R-11: | Ten dollars ($10.00) per infraction |
| R-12: | Five dollars ($5.00) per infraction of By-law 12 |
| R-13: | Twenty dollars ($20.00) per infraction of R-14 (a) and (b). |
| R-14: | Subject to ORA and ERRA fines |
| R-15: | Fifteen dollars ($15.00) |
